About Radon
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that can cause lung cancer. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer and is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.
Radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless radioactive gas that occurs naturally in most rocks and soil. It is produced by the breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. Radon is harmlessly dispersed in outdoor air, but when trapped in buildings can increase the risk of lung cancer, especially at elevated levels.
Our counties have a high potential for radon, so testing is encouraged.

Our Testing Service
Radon Test with Inspection $100
Stand Alone Radon Test $175
Radon tests take 2 business days to complete
While any radon exposure creates some health risks, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers a level of 4 pCi/L or higher dangerous and recommends remedial measures to reduce or eliminate radon if it exceeds that level.
The Client understands that the Inspector’s control of the test conditions is limited to the actual placement of the test device. Any tampering with or manipulation of the testing conditions prior to or during the testing period are out of the Inspector’s control and may adversely affect the accuracy of the test.
